The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Winters lands with a nice body punch. Smith looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Smith misses with a takedown and Winters counters with a thumping low kick. Smith misses with a body punch

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Welch shoots in but Suarez avoids the takedown attempt easily. Suarez swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Welch shoots for a takedown but Suarez saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Welch will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Vaughn is sent crashing into the canvas and Hao leaps in for the kill! Vaughn tries to get to his feet but Hao is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Vaughn is in need of a savior and steps in!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rahim on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Rahim takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Rahim looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. No luck for Rahim with that takedown attempt. Rahim tries to clinch there but Vargas circles away.
Rahim steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Vargas. Rahim slips a straight right by Vargas. Vargas keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Rahim dives in for a single leg takedown but Vargas sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Danny Vargas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Faarooq Rahim. Vargas leaves Rahim with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
