Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carl Pumpkins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bubba Stylez! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pumpkins ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Pumpkins wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Stylez misses with a wild body shot. A quick step to the side and Pumpkins tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Pumpkins takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Stylez drives through with a takedown into guard. Pumpkins utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Stylez content to stall in guard here. Pumpkins is pulling down on Stylez's head. It's preventing any offense from Stylez, at least for the moment. Stylez looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pumpkins is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Stylez has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Pumpkins looks like he's thinking about clinching though. And Stylez tries to counter it with a takedown but Pumpkins pushes his down on his head and steps out. Stylez cracks Pumpkins with a good jab. Pumpkins misses the shot to the body. Stylez thows a left - swing and a miss! Stylez throws a lazy uppercut
and Pumpkins counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Stylez swings widly with a right hand
and Pumpkins counters with a crisp right hand that drops Stylez! Pumpkins lets Stylez back up to his feet, looking for a finish! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stylez closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Pumpkins's guard.

Stylez slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Stylez stopping the sweep attempt from Pumpkins. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pumpkins controls Stylez momentarily but Stylez frees himself. Pumpkins keeping moving, preventing Stylez from controlling successfully.

Pumpkins moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. It looks like Pumpkins has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Pumpkins slips under a jab. Stylez fails to land the takedown.

Greyson unleashes a big counter combination but Dinu bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Greyson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Greyson throws a wild hook but Dinu just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Greyson gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Dinu raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! House checks a leg kick nicely. Sartre throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. House looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. House's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Sartre is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by House. House looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

House throws a shot from downtown. Sartre moves away and avoids it. House steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sartre. House gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Sartre. House throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

House is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Sartre trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Max House has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's five minutes gone in the round. House is pulling down on Sartre's head. It's preventing any offense from Sartre, at least for the moment. Sartre drops back, looking for a kneebar! House looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. House looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from House! House taking a break here but Sartre is having none of it and regains half guard. Sartre is refusing to be controlled, as House sits in half guard.

Sartre is not content to let House control the position. House moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Sartre. Nicholas Sartre is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Sartre sneaks back into half guard. Sartre is concentrating on defense, preventing House from advancing position. Sartre regains full guard. Nicely done. House looking to sit in guard and control but Sartre gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. House trying to keep a closed guard but Sartre is proving a slippery customer.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Sartre controlling from the top position. Sartre is fighting to break House's control of his arms but House is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Sartre uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by House.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nicholas Sartre. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Sartre, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vasilios sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Vasilios misses with a takedown attempt - Mao sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Vasilios fails in his attempt to clinch. Vasilios shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mao's guard. Mao trying to control the position.
Mao has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Vasilios can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Mao definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Vasilios controlling from the top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. It looks like Vasilios might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Vasilios pushes down on Mao's leg and manages to get into half guard. Vasilios throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Vasilios is trying to control. Mao wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Vasilios takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Mao is defending against the submission attempts here by Vasilios.
Vasilios throwing shots but Mao is blocking nicely. Mao actively working from the bottom here. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Vasilios is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Vasilios shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mao pinned against the cage. Mao gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Mao is looking to counter with a shot to the body. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Vasilios is defended easily by Mao. Mao looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Yin Mao has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alkandros Vasilios. Vasilios punishes Mao's body with a nice straight punch.

I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Alkandros Vasilios has been cut. Mao connects with a high kick. Mao misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

That has opened up Alkandros Vasilios's cut even more. Mao on the wrong end of a nice hook. Vasilios shoots in and gets a takedown into Mao's guard. Vasilios drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Mao has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Vasilios has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Mao is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Vasilios is leaning against Mao and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Mao breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

A huge head kick from Mao! Vasilios is out on his feet! Mao rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Vasilios is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Vasilios is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Cunningham connects with a single shot there. Samuel lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Cunningham falls backwards - clearly groggy! Samuel dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Seal swivels though and keeps the full guard. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Mesquita drops back looking for a leg! Seal is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Seal manages to kick Mesquita off! Mesquita jumps back into Seal's guard. Mesquita connects with a couple of short punches. Mesquita wants to control from the top but Seal keeps moving.

Mesquita is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Seal pulls down on the head and he's put Mesquita to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Leandro Leao! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Keanu Marlin! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marlin walks into a stiff left hand from Leao. Marlin looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Marlin steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Leao. Leao misses with a hook. Marlin lands with a right hand. It looks like Leandro Leao has been cut. Leao throws an off balance right hand
and Marlin counters with a nice uppercut. Marlin lands a left and a right that send Leao crashing to the mat, dazed. Marlin thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Marlin jabs Leao to the body, keeping him at a distance. Marlin has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Leao finds it's way round the side to connect with Marlin's head. Leao misses with a low kick.
Marlin lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Leandro Leao's cut is getting worse. Leao throws a leg kick that misses. Marlin looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Leao buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Marlin lands with a right hand. Leandro Leao's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Leandro Leao seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Leao misses with an uppercut. Marlin saw that one coming. Marlin looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

and Marlin counters with a left to the body. Marlin swings for the body but Leao moves out of range.
Marlin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Marlin displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Leao throws out the jab. Marlin swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Leao takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Marlin misses with a hook. Leao ducked under it nicely. Leao chopping away at his opponent's legs.

and Leao counters with a straight right hand. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Leao shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Marlin takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

and Leao makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Marlin loads up on a big right hand but Leao slips the punch. The crowd cheers as Leao lands an impressive looking overhand right. Marlin doesn't seem phased though. Marlin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Leao. Leao misses with an uppercut
and Marlin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Marlin throws a jab but it's blocked by Leao. Leao appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Leao moves out of range of the strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marlin swats away the attempt to clinch by Leao. Marlin throws a jab when Leao was well out of range. Leao seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Leao pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Leao. Marlin does a little dance to reset his feet. Marlin throws a big shot that misses. Leao fires out a quick counter leg kick but Marlin just manages to avoid it. Marlin throws a body shot but no joy. Leao throws a low kick, looking for Marlin's leg but Marlin calmly moves out of range. Marlin throws a good cross that connects.
Jeez, Leandro Leao's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Leao misses with an uppercut
and Marlin counters with a straight right hand.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Leandro Leao's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
