With a record of 20 - 83 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pawel Nastula! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bebok throws a left and a right that both miss
and Nastula counters with a nice double leg into guard. Nastula drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Nastula jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bebok is trying to push Nastula off with his feet but Nastula grabs hold of one of the legs and drops back looking for a submission! He's cranking on one of Bebok's ankles and Bebok is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kovacs lands a high kick!
It looks like Kari Mountain has been cut. Mountain misses with a telegraphed body shot

Kovacs stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Kovacs misses with a leg kick and Mountain counters with a nice uppercut. A jab lands there for Kovacs. Kovacs attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Kovacs throws a head kick that misses. Mountain moves out of range of the leg kick from Kovacs. Kovacs connects with the punch. Mountain misses with a jab, cross combination.

and Mountain connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kovacs motions for Mountain to come forward. Kovacs throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. An inside leg kick from Kovacs misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mountain chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kovacs can pounce on him.

As Mountain looks to move away, Kovacs throws a big counter combo but Mountain just gets out of the way. Kovacs misses with a looping left. As Kovacs backs off Mountain throws a huge counter combo but Kovacs manages to avoid it all. Mountain misses with a low kick. Mountain throws a body punch but Kovacs moves out of range. Mountain tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kovacs sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mountain somewhat. A nice leg kick from Kovacs, right into the meat of the thigh.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mountain throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Mountain misses with a straight left. Kovacs throws a leg kick but Mountain checks it. Kovacs throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Mountain unleashes a big counter combination but Kovacs bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Mountain throws a combination. Kovacs tries to block but a couple of punches get through. It looks like Andor Kovacs has been cut. Kovacs keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kovacs rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mountain moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Mountain throws a chopping leg kick but Kovacs manages to avoid taking any serious damage. As Mountain tries to get set, Kovacs tries to push him back and clinch up but Mountain manages to avoid the attempt. Mountain shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Kovacs moves into the clinch. This has been an exciting period of action! Kovacs breaks the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kovacs dodges the punch combination from Mountain.
Kovacs loads up on a big right hand but Mountain slips the punch. Kovacs uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mountain. Mountain chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kovacs can pounce on him.

and Kovacs holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Mountain breaks from the clinch.
Kovacs works the jab nicely. Kovacs throws a solid leg kick but Mountain takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kovacs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kovacs ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Nice defenses there by Mountain. Mountain throws a body shot but no joy. Mountain keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mountain connects with a looping right hand.
Kovacs throws a chopping leg kick but Mountain manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Mountain lands with a hook. Kovacs tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Kovacs throws a head kick that misses. Andor Kovacs is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Mountain throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kovacs stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Mountain has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Mountain lands a left and a right that send Kovacs crashing to the mat, dazed. Mountain thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Kovacs is rocked! Kovacs dodges the punch combination from Mountain.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kari Mountain dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's time! Kovacs's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Mountain lands with a right and another and another! Kovacs is in big trouble! Mountain lands again and this time it's lights out for Kovacs! A quality knockout there for Mountain.

He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Lawson has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Lawson! Lawson looking to sit in guard and control but Liee gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Lawson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Liee doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Liee manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lawson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. And that is the end of the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Liee has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Liee scoring with punches to the head and body. Lawson trying to keep a closed guard but Liee is proving a slippery customer.

No luck so far. Liee is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Lawson is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Lawson has escaped and now he's on top! Lawson throws a big elbow that misses.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Liee can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Liee missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ryan on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Bjurstrom looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Bjurstrom lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Ryan shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bjurstrom as he avoids it easily. Bjurstrom throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Ryan swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Ryan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
It seemed like Ryan was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Ryan gets tackled into the cage by Bjurstrom. Bjurstrom maintains the clinch. Ryan pulls guard effortlessly. Bjurstrom tries to free his leg and advance position but Ryan is retaining full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ryan is on top in guard.
Bjurstrom utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Ryan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bjurstrom has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zuev lands a front kick. Anstey keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Anstey feints and as Zuev raises his hands in defense, Anstey changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Anstey pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Zuev is keeping the position for now. Anstey wants to control from the top but Zuev keeps moving. Zuev wants to sweep here but Anstey controlling him for the moment. Anstey stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zuev swivels though and keeps the full guard.
