With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Richarlison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 18 - 15 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Klaus Von Alkum! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Paul Tew and Phil Schofield.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Richarlison with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Richarlison throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Von Alkum connects with a high kick. Chris Richarlison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Richarlison misses with a looping left. The fighters circling - Richarlison throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A jab lands there for Richarlison. Richarlison just misses with a punch to the body.
Richarlison drops his hands momentarily and Von Alkum takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Richarlison lands a nice leg kick that just misses Von Alkum's sensitive parts. Richarlison attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Von Alkum lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Richarlison keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Von Alkum closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Richarlison throws a lazy right hand but Von Alkum sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Nice shot by Von Alkum. Richarlison throws a good cross that connects.

Von Alkum scores with a crisp jab that stopped Richarlison in his tracks. Richarlison throws a combination. Von Alkum tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Von Alkum connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Von Alkum looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A looping hook to the body misses from Richarlison. Von Alkum does a little dance to reset his feet. Von Alkum raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Von Alkum tries a head kick but it misses.

Richarlison fakes the leg kick and cracks Von Alkum in the body. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Posey misses with a leg kick and Ferguson rattles Posey with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Posey tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Ferguson dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Posey stiff and motionless on the mat!

That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Mansour is breathing heavily. Mansour throws an off balance right hand

Svenkter jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Mansour from any more punishment! Mansour complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

With a record of 20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bob Bronte! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Kane! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bronte lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kane circles away quickly and effectively. Bronte fails with the takedown and Kane counters with a nice body shot. Bronte tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Kane lands with a thumping leg kick.

and Kane counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Kane connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Bronte definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Bronte throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Kane lands an uppercut. A head punch on the inside from Kane fails to land. Bronte misses with a hook from the clinch.
Bronte pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bob Bronte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kane throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bronte. Kane does a little dance to reset his feet. Bronte is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kane sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Bronte misses with a hook. Kane drops his hands momentarily and Bronte takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Bronte tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Bronte backing away here, and Kane unleashes a leg kick that just misses.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kane keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bronte. Bronte thuds his right hand into Kane's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Bronte tries to grapple but his opponent circles enabling Kane to counter with a crisp jab. Bronte on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Bronte throws out a powerful jab.
Bronte instigates a clinch.
Kane breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bronte misses with a two punch combination.
Kane throws a hook but Bronte blocks it. Bronte tries for a takedown but Kane sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Kane only half commits to the counter leg kick. Chris Kane is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A clash of legs there as Bronte blocks the low kick. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bronte pushes Kane up against the cage in a clinch. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bob Bronte will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Bob Bronte's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Bronte shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kane as he avoids it easily. Bronte misses with a right hand and Kane counters with a straight right hand. Bronte tries to clinch up but Kane circles away and keeps his distance. Bronte misses with an uppercut
and Kane counters with a takedown into side control. Bronte tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kane wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Bronte is working hard here to advance position. Bronte sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bronte is looking for a sweep. Kane is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Bronte is trying to control but can't.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Bronte is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Bronte is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Kane jumps into side control! Bronte is trying to control Kane's posture but Kane avoids it. Bronte gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bronte wants to improve his position but Kane is controlling well.
Bronte makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bronte.
Bronte looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Bronte wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Kane is now in half guard.

Kane decides to stand up. Kane bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Kane stuffs the takedown. Kane changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Kane avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Bronte rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kane moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Bronte loads up on a big right hand but Kane slips the punch. Nice uppercut lands for Bronte. That snapped Kane's head back.
Bronte throws a body punch but Kane moves out of range. Kane was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Bronte throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bob Bronte is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kane slips a jab from Bronte. Bronte has his takedown stuffed and Kane cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bob Bronte. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bronte throws a right hand that misses
and Kane counters with a nice uppercut.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Kane uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bronte. Kane throws out a token jab with nothing on it. A looping hook to the body misses from Bronte. Kane does a little dance to reset his feet. Kane appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Bronte's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kane connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bronte scrambles back to his feet. This has been an exciting period of action! Kane digs a good hook to Bronte's body.

Bronte drops down looking for a counter takedown but Kane sprawls and moves away. Bronte jabbing away but nothing is landing. Kane avoids a lazy jab quite easily. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Kane cracks Bronte with a left hook right on the temple and Bronte goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Kane lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Bronte is OK!

We've been informed that Cross has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Cross tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Thuta was well out of range. Poor timing from Cross. Thuta appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Thuta slips a jab from Cross. The fighters circling - Cross throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Thuta throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Cross throws out a counter right but Thuta avoids it with no problem. Cross misses with a looping right. Thuta lands a front kick. Thuta looks to land a right hand but Cross moved out of range. Thuta lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Thuta dives in looking to finish! Cross is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pyay Thuta! Pyay Thuta decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well. In defeat, Jeremy Cross stepped up to the mic, saying 'BY THE LIGHT OF THE MOON!'.

Van Hire lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Kursiwa head around and knocks him out cold! Van Hire hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Whealer Van Hire! After the fight, Whealer Van Hire was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
