Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fiddle Sticks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Maron! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jonathan Paton and Jorge Garcia.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sticks fails with a takedown attempt. Sticks misses with a takedown attempt - Maron sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Maron gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Sticks stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Maron swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sticks is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Maron is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Maron has escaped and now he's on top!

Maron gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Sticks shoots in looking for a takedown but Maron manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sticks's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Sticks goes for a double leg but Maron avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Maron continues to drive forward.

Sticks shoots in but Maron avoids the takedown attempt easily. Maron with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Maron's jab looks to have found its range, popping Sticks under the eye. Maron attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Maron defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sticks. Nice takedown defense from Maron. No joy for Sticks on that attempt. Fiddle Sticks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Maron swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. We've been informed that Maron has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Sticks shoots in but no luck this time. Sticks on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The fighters circling - Maron throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Sticks shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Maron misses with a few strikes there.

Maron throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Mike Maron seems to be getting the better of the standup. Sticks shoots in but no luck this time. A little jabbing left from Maron on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Maron scores with the left hand. Sticks knows he should have avoided that one. Maron throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sticks. Maron lands the left hand. Maron throws out a leg kick but Sticks moves out of range and Maron only half commits. Sticks shoots for a takedown but Maron saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Maron bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Sticks's head backwards. Maron lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Sticks has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Sticks there as he acknowledges the shot.
Sticks is rocked! Maron defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sticks. Sticks closes the distance and clinches up with Maron, looking for a takedown. Sticks pushes Maron against the cage but Maron circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Sticks tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Maron defends well and Sticks ends up having to push Maron into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. It seemed like Maron was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Maron prevents a takedown attempt there.

Sticks shoots in but Maron avoids the takedown attempt easily. Sticks has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Maron. Maron loads up on a big right hand but Sticks slips the punch. Maron lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Sticks ducks under a wild hook from Maron. Maron throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Sticks throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Maron's waist but Maron gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sticks off to one side. Sticks misses with a takedown attempt - Maron sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Maron lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sticks circles away quickly and effectively. Sticks dives in for a single leg takedown but Maron sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Maron pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Maron bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Maron pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Sticks back to the cage. Maron follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Maron with the inside leg kick. Maron loads up on a big right hand but Sticks slips the punch. Sticks tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Maron defends well and Sticks ends up having to push Maron into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Maron lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Maron tests Sticks's chin there with a solid looking shot. Maron connects with a solid leg kick. Maron leaves Sticks with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Horrible takedown attempt by Sticks or perhaps it was just good defense by Maron, which made it look bad.
Sticks closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Maron explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Maron showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Fiddle Sticks's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Sticks is looking for a kimura but Maron is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sticks to get the leverage.
Maron makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Sticks sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Sticks seems to have got his legs back now.
Maron shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sticks's guard.
Sticks is working an open guard so Maron takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Maron fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sticks. Maron listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Sticks avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Sticks on the wrong end of a nice hook. Maron dips down and scores with a jab to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Sticks takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Maron drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sticks is looking to reverse the position.
Maron decides to stand up, so the ref orders Sticks to his feet. Sticks moves out of range as Maron strikes. Mike Maron is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Maron enables Sticks to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Maron manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Maron has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Sticks has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Fiddle Sticks has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sticks has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Maron is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Sticks drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Maron lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Sticks backwards.
Maron's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Maron keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
And that's the end of the fight! Mike Maron comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Maron has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

As Graves backs off Burton throws a huge counter combo but Graves manages to avoid it all. Graves swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Burton moves away and avoids it. Graves has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Burton throws an ugly left hook that misses

Benzo misses with the head strike.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stokes throws a lazy head kick
and Dujardin counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Dujardin. Stokes is pulling down on Dujardin's head to control his posture.
Stokes has his foot on Dujardin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dujardin works his way back into a safe position though. Dujardin wants to control from the top but Stokes keeps moving. Stokes working a defensive guard here.

Our spies down at at Savage Gym inform us that Stokes has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
