Takeda on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Horton. Horton obviously looking to wear him down.
Horton dives in and grabs Takeda's left leg, looking for a takedown. Takeda pushes down on Horton's head and hops out.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Horton has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Takeda tries to close the distance and clinch but Horton swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

He's out cold! Takeda gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
