Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Paulie Gualtieri! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bugg Nevans! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Bruno Hogan and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nevans slips under a jab from Gualtieri. Nevans connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Gualtieri momentarily.
Gualtieri fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Paulie Gualtieri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gualtieri avoids the body shot from Nevans.
Gualtieri lands with a straight right. Nevans didn't see that one coming. Nevans throws the kick towards the body but Gualtieri avoids it. Gualtieri lands with a shot to the body. Gualtieri misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Nevans.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gualtieri blocks a head kick by Nevans.

He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Gualtieri is looking to counter punch. We've been told by Gualtieri's head coaches at Top of Food Chain that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Nevans misses with a hook to the body
and Nevans takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Gualtieri takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Nevans steps in with a hook that catches Gualtieri right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Nevans follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Gualtieri looks absolutely devastated.
