and Deckel counters with a three punch combo that has Keane backing up. Keane nods at Deckel to acknowledge the strikes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Passel tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Cabango manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Cabango throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ben Passel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dredd Tatum had a terrible time trying to make weight. After initially coming in at 273.2, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. Stepping on the scales for a second time, he still failed to make the required weight and after much deliberation, his fight with Suga Diabeetus was cancelled.
