Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Beau Maddox (ranked 5094 p4p, 4966 weight class) and Arman Naji (ranked 452 p4p, 447 weight class). Naji has chosen La Serenissima as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. On his way into the ring it seems that Beau Maddox has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Beau Maddox seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Beau Maddox! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Arman Naji! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Skip Squint and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Naji jabs Maddox right on the nose. Maddox blinks but takes it well. It looks like Beau Maddox has been cut. Maddox with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Naji to score with a decent uppercut. Maddox bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Naji, as that shot connected.
Naji connects with a body shot that sends Maddox's belly button to the back. Maddox misses with a looping left. Naji looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Maddox takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Maddox wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Naji connects with the punch. Naji throws out a loose jab but Maddox uses good head movement to avoid it. This has been an exciting period of action! Naji lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Maddox circles away quickly and effectively. Maddox was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Naji fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Maddox manages to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maddox misses with a wild body shot. Naji keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Naji throws a right hand that Maddox ducks under and follows up with a left that Maddox also avoids with ease. Naji on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A jab from Naji misses. Naji throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Naji slips a straight right by Maddox. Naji bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Maddox is looking to wear down Naji with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Maddox uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Maddox just misses with a punch to the body.

Naji cracks Maddox with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Naji throws a hook but Maddox blocks it. Maddox was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Maddox misses with a straight left. Naji bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Maddox throws a hook but Naji blocks it. Maddox on the wrong end of a nice hook. Decent striking displayed by Naji there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Naji connects with the punch. Maddox slips under a jab from Naji. A quick step to the side and Maddox tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Naji is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Maddox. A little feinted left hand from Maddox on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Arman Naji seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Maddox ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Naji moves away. Naji throws a body punch but Maddox moves out of range. Maddox swings and misses with a shot to the body and Naji counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Naji has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Maddox on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Maddox lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Arman Naji seems to be getting the better of the standup. Naji throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Maddox tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Naji was well out of range. Poor timing from Maddox. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Naji! But no joy. Naji scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Naji lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Naji tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Maddox was well out of range. Poor timing from Naji. It looked like Maddox was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Naji. Naji misses with a left hand and Maddox counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. It looks like Arman Naji has been cut. Naji scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Naji connects with a body shot. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Arman Naji showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round! Maddox throws a body shot but no joy. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Naji! But no joy. Beau Maddox has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Maddox throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Arman Naji is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Nice straight punches there by Naji. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Naji. Maddox on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Naji tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Maddox was well out of range. Poor timing from Naji. Maddox fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Naji manages to avoid it.
And that's the end of the fight! Arman Naji comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Naji has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

De Andrade looks to land a right hand but Ayax moved out of range. De Andrade throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ayax sees it coming and avoids it easily. Ayax tries a quick counter leg kick but De Andrade is wise to it. Ayax on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Ayax blocks a jab. De Andrade lets loose with a powerful body kick. Ayax will feel that in the morning. Ayax avoids a lazy jab quite easily. De Andrade backing away here, and Ayax unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Ayax defending well as De Andrade loads up on a big left hand. De Andrade takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. De Andrade definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. A kick lands to the mid section there for Ayax. De Andrade ducks into a a hook from Ayax and goes down! He looks in a bit of a mess; will he beat the count?! 4,5,6,7,8 - he's up and looking to carry on! The referee looks into his eyes and sees that he's OK to continue! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Ayax - that will leave a mark!

That's two minutes gone in the round. De Andrade moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Ayax lands with a shot to the body. De Andrade drops his guard momentarily, allowing Ayax to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes De Andrade! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Ayax takes it!

DuVicius throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. De Teixiera looks winded! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. De Teixiera steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from DuVicius. That one must have hurt. DuVicius connects with an inside leg kick. DuVicius bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A shot to the body from De Teixiera misses and DuVicius counters with a really nice, stiff jab that drops De Teixiera onto his ass. He'll have to take the mandatory count from the referee but he's back on his feet and he seems OK to continue. De Teixiera walks straight into a perfectly timed right hook, crumpling him to the floor! De Teixiera is in all kinds of trouble here - can he beat the count? 3,4,5,6,7,8,9....10 - he's out and it's by a long way too - he didn't ever look like beating that count!

He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kezman and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Kezman connects with a body shot. Kezman lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Drogo at a distance.
