Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 27 - 34 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Andor Kovacs! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 27 - 25 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lyoha Nagibatel! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kovacs throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Kovacs backing away here, and Nagibatel unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Kovacs takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Kovacs throws a head kick that misses and Nagibatel counters with a low kick, right behind Kovacs 's knee. The crowd cheers as Kovacs lands an impressive looking overhand right. Nagibatel doesn't seem phased though. Kovacs defending well as Nagibatel loads up on a big left hand. Kovacs misses with a hook
and Nagibatel connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Nagibatel throws a quick inside leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kovacs throws a right hand that misses
and Nagibatel counters with a low kick, right behind Kovacs 's knee. Kovacs throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Kovacs bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. As Nagibatel looks to move away, Kovacs throws a big counter combo but Nagibatel just gets out of the way. Kovacs loads up on a big right hand but Nagibatel slips the punch. Nagibatel looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Kovacs goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Kovacs looks to land a left hand but Nagibatel moved out of range nicely. Nagibatel feints a counter leg kick. Kovacs throws a poor cross that misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Kovacs throws a combination that misses and Nagibatel counters with a slapping leg kick. Kovacs thows a leg kick but Nagibatel checks it and Nagibatel cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Nagibatel stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Nagibatel cracks Kovacs with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kovacs looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away� can Nagibatel finish him?
Kovacs is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kovacs gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Nagibatel points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Kovacs wakes up just in time to hear Nagibatel thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lyoha Nagibatel! An out of breath Lyoha Nagibatel thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Patryk makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Patryk. Mantzurin loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Mantzurin looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Mantzurin throws a big elbow that misses. Mantzurin seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Mantzurin trying to control but Patryk is working from the bottom.
 That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mantzurin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Mantzurin trying to control the position from guard on top but Patryk is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Patryk being controlled here, momentarily. Patryk looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Mantzurin puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Mantzurin is thwarting Patryk's attempts to control the position. Still in half guard, Mantzurin seems content to control.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Patryk wants to improve his position but Mantzurin is controlling well.

A much better position for Patryk. Mantzurin throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Mantzurin stands up over Patryk, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Mantzurin stays in close to Patryk's body and controls the position.
Mantzurin has gone for a leg lock! Patryk slips out almost immediately though and dives into Mantzurin's guard.

Mantzurin is working an open guard so Patryk takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Patryk displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mantzurin. As Mantzurin tries to get set, Patryk tries to push him back and clinch up but Mantzurin manages to avoid the attempt. Mantzurin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Patryk's waist but Patryk gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mantzurin off to one side. Mantzurin displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Patryk.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Patryk is trying hard to land a takedown here. Mantzurin sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Mantzurin shapes to counter with a head kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lukasz Patryk. That's going to take a lot out of him. Patryk dodges the punch combination from Mantzurin.
Mantzurin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Patryk tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Patryk throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Patryk fails with a takedown attempt from distance. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mantzurin lands a head kick. Patryk smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Mantzurin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Patryk tries to avoid it but Mantzurin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Patryk to the ground. Patryk escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Patryk misses with an uppercut. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A relieved looking Monni Mantzurin thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. Lukasz Patryk was interviewed post fight and said 'I will never give up!'.

and Atunes makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Atunes works Franco's body with a nice hook. Atunes lands with a straight right. Franco didn't see that one coming. Juan David Franco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Franco throws a combination that misses and Atunes counters with a slapping leg kick. Atunes looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Franco falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Atunes to counter with a crisp jab. Franco takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. This has been an exciting period of action! Franco throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Atunes counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. A right-left combo lands from Atunes. Franco takes one to the chin there.
