Undercard bout
|
Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Maxim Ward (ranked 1780 p4p, 22706 weight class) and Roman Francis (ranked 219 p4p, 470 weight class). Ward kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is ERA - Ameno. Roman Francis struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
