Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cassius Fielder (ranked 4637 p4p, 4643 weight class) and Aden Burgers (ranked 481 p4p, 482 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cassius Fielder! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Aden Burgers! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burgers swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Burgers misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Fielder counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Fielder has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Burgers finds it's way round the side to connect with Fielder's head. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Burgers has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Fielder lands a head shot.
Oooooh!!! Fielder has knocked Burgers down with a huge combo! Fielder steps away and waves a wobbly Burgers back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Aden Burgers has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Crack! Fielder connects with the perfect overhand right and Burgers falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Fielder!

With a record of 16 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Phillip Coles! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 16 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arthur King! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Ian Loll.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King walks into a jab. Coles misses with a looping right. Coles slips under a jab from King. Coles definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. A big right from Coles misses. Coles looks to throw the jab but King is out of range.
King closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Coles's guard. King working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Coles's head. Coles is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. King throwing strikes but missing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. King trying to control the position from guard on top but Coles is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. King wants to pass the guard but Coles is keeping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
 That's one minute gone in the round. King throwing strikes from guard but Coles blocks nicely. King working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Coles's head. King is stalling in the full guard. King being controlled here momentarily. Coles's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. King tries to free his leg and advance position but Coles is retaining full guard. Coles is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. King misses with a looping right. King ducks under a wild hook from Coles. King misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Coles.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. King throwing strikes from guard but Coles blocks nicely. King pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Coles is keeping the position for now. Coles working a defensive guard but King manages to pass into side control anyway.

King lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
King pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. King content just to control the position here. King thowing shots but they're missing.
 That's six minutes gone in the round. Coles in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. King can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Coles is looking to escape. Coles tries to lock up and control but King gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. King misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

 That's nine minutes gone in the round. Merchant misses with an uppercut. Man saw that one coming. Man with a jab. Merchant moves out of range of the strikes. A lazy left from Merchant finds it's target. Merchant takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Merchant tries to counter with a takedown but Man is quick to defend against it. Man throws a wild body kick that Merchant sees coming a mile off. Merchant changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. A nice leg kick from Man, right into the meat of the thigh.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Merchant tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Man was well out of range. and Man counters with a good low kick that Merchant was not able to check. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Merchant lands a body shot.

And Man responds with a good body kick, but Merchant manages to step out the way in time. Merchant misses with a straight left. Man is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Merchant. Merchant defending well as Man loads up on a big left hand. Man has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Merchant throws a body shot but no joy. Man slips a jab from Merchant. Man lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

and Merchant decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Man's guard. Merchant won't allow Man to get back to his feet. Merchant looking to sit in guard and control but Man gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Will he be able to recover?!! With the fighters clinched against the cage, Man creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Man pushes Merchant against the cage. Man is working some dirty boxing. Man pushes off with a quick right hook! Merchant goes down! Merchant tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Man moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nasty Man! A very excited looking Nasty Man rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Bishop dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Pushkin. That did some damage! Bishop lands with an uppercut that bounces Pushkin off the cage and back into range. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bishop feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Pushkins jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Bishop takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Pushkin manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Bishop looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bishop tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pushkin swats him away and circles back towards the center. Bishop looks to throw a body kick and Pushkin counters with a right hand to the body.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Bishop. Pushkin is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Bishop is controlling him well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bishop is working to tighten his grip on Pushkin's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Pushkin has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Bishop is really squeezing tight and eventually Pushkin passes out! Bishop breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

With a record of 20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Terrell Knight! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 19 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tiamat Tenkula! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tenkula is looking to chop away at Knight's legs. Knight swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Knight swings for the body but Tenkula moves out of range.
Nice body punch from Knight. Knight scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
It looks like Tiamat Tenkula has been cut. Knight shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Knight takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Knight throws a right and a left that both miss. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Knight connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Tenkula momentarily.
Sloppy strikes from Knight. Those never looked like landing. Knight backing away here, and Tenkula unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Tenkula fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Knight manages to avoid it.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Tenkula does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Tenkula connects with a nice looking jab.

so Knight counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Tenkula really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Knight. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Knight keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Tenkula's head. Knight trying to control but Tenkula is working from the bottom. Tenkula is looking to stand up but Knight isn't so interested in that idea.
Tenkula pushes Knight off and scrambles back to his feet.
Knight slips a straight right by Tenkula. The fighters circle momentarily. Knight darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Tenkula throws a front kick aimed at Knight's knee but Knight avoids it well. Knight definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tenkula throws a head kick but Knight moves out of range.
Tenkula moves forwards but Knight connects with a nice, crisp jab. Tiamat Tenkula is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A chopping leg kick lands by Tenkula. Tenkula drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. A looping hook to the body misses from Tenkula. Knight does a little dance to reset his feet. A slapping leg kick lands for Tenkula.
Knight takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Knight misses with a hook. Tenkula ducked under it nicely. Tenkula throws out a counter right but Knight avoids it with no problem. A right-left combo lands from Tenkula.

Knight ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Knight tries to counter with a takedown but Tenkula is quick to defend against it. Tenkula on the wrong end of a nice hook. Tenkula jabbing away but nothing is landing. Knight lands a nice hook to Tenkula's body. Tenkula takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. A low kick from Tenkula misses
and Knight decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Tenkula's guard.
Knight drops back looking for a leg! Tenkula is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tenkula manages to kick Knight off! Knight jumps back into Tenkula's guard. Knight has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Knight stops Tenkula from standing up.

It seemed like Rivers was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Hammer swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Hammer throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rivers sees it coming and avoids it easily. Hammer misses with a hook to the body
and Rivers counters with a nice uppercut. Oh Hammer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Rivers might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. A jab from Hammer does it's job there. Hammer walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Rivers swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
