Deckel dives in and grabs Takeda's left leg, looking for a takedown. Takeda pushes down on Deckel's head and hops out.
Takeda is pawing at Deckel, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Deckel's nose. Deckel is badly hurt! Takeda pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Deckel tries desperately to hold on but Takeda is relentless in his assault! As Deckel receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Takeda away and this one is in the books!

A relieved looking Shingen Takeda thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
