Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nate Poirier! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dylan Owen! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Owen clobbers Poirier with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Owen looks to land a combination but Poirier avoids it well. Poirier has his takedown stuffed and Owen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Owen scores with a hook. Poirier tries to clinch and Owen counters with a stiff right hand.
Poirier is rocked! BOOM! Owen lands a beautiful left hook that drops Poirier. Poirier tries to recover but Owen is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Poirier lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dylan Owen! A very excited looking Dylan Owen rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ugrapurod Makagziadan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, MewChoo Free! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Sano and Taro Takaoka.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Free cracks Makagziadan with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Free sizes up Makagziadan with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Makagziadan keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Free. Free lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Makagziadan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Free manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Free steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Makagziadan. Free was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Free connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Makagziadan momentarily.
A punch lands to the side of Makagziadan 's head but he takes it in his stride. Free thows a leg kick but Makagziadan checks it and Makagziadan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Free finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Makagziadan throws a jab but it's blocked by Free. Free swings and misses with a shot to the body and Makagziadan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. This has been an exciting period of action! Free misses with a straight left. Makagziadan was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Makagziadan throws a left and a right that both miss
and Free counters with a nice low kick that buckles Makagziadan's knee momentarily. Free walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Makagziadan checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Makagziadan throws a combination that misses and Free counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Free throws a chopping leg kick but Makagziadan manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Free misses with a hook
and Makagziadan counters with a nice uppercut. Free slips under a jab. Makagziadan throws a jab when Free was well out of range. Free only half commits to the counter leg kick. Free is looking to score with low kicks. Free dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Makagziadan. That did some damage! Free misses with an uppercut
and Makagziadan counters with a nice uppercut. Free throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Makagziadan on the side of the head. Makagziadan moves away from the strike by Free. Free throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Makagziadan counters with a nice uppercut. MewChoo Free seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Free misses with a low kick.
Free slips under a jab. It seemed like Free was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Free throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Makagziadan sees it coming and avoids it easily.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Free connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Free attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Free tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Makagziadan is able to avoid easily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Free connects with an inside leg kick. Makagziadan on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Free throws a low kick, looking for Makagziadan's leg but Makagziadan calmly moves out of range. Free looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Free stuns Makagziadan with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Free throws a head kick but Makagziadan moves out of range.
Free throws a leg kick but Makagziadan checks it. Free dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Makagziadan. That did some damage! Free connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Free throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Makagziadan. Makagziadan misses with a straight left. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Free! But no joy. Makagziadan avoids the head kick by Free.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Free blocks a jab. As Makagziadan backs off Free throws a huge counter combo but Makagziadan manages to avoid it all. Makagziadan moves away from the strike by Free. Makagziadan is looking to counter punch. Free's corner calls for a 1-2. Free obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Free tests Makagziadan's chin there with a solid looking shot. Makagziadan thows a left - swing and a miss! Nice shot lands for Free. Free misses with a left hand and Makagziadan counters with a straight right hand. Makagziadan misses with a hook. Free ducked under it nicely. Free misses with a low kick. Makagziadan on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Free wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Nice defenses there by Makagziadan. Free tries to work over Makagziadan's front leg with a kick but Makagziadan checks it.

Free swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Free rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Makagziadan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Free throws a leg kick and Free takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Free connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Free bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Free misses with a wild body shot. A counter left hand to the body from Makagziadan misses its target. Free misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Makagziadan counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Free throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

and Free takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Free jabbing away but nothing is landing. Makagziadan throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Makagziadan connects with a single shot there. Free blocks a jab. Free misses with a left hand and Free takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Free lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Makagziadan has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Makagziadan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Free. Free uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Makagziadan has time to react. Makagziadan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Free moves away. Free was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Free misses with a left hand and Makagziadan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Free connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Free has been the more effective fighter overall so far. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Makagziadan keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

It looks like MewChoo Free has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Free throws a leg kick that is checked and Makagziadan counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Free out cold! What a finish! Makagziadan is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Price looks for a takedown but Harvey sprawls well. Price shoots in but Harvey avoids the takedown attempt easily. Harvey tries for a takedown but Price sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Price looks for a takedown but Harvey sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clayton Price. That's going to take a lot out of him. Harvey shoots in for a double leg but Price sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. My spies in NYC Fight Club inform me that Harvey has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Harvey tries to score a power double leg takedown but Price sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Harvey somewhat. Clayton Price is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. No luck with that takedown attempt from Price. Harvey throws a counter combo. Clayton Price seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Price has a takedown stuffed. Harvey looks for a takedown but Price sprawls well. Price shoots in and drives through. Price pushes Harvey against the cage but Harvey circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Price shoots for a double leg takedown but Harvey sprawls well. He's pushed Price's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Price misses with a takedown
and Harvey counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Harvey. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clayton Price. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Harvey tries to free his leg and advance position but Price is retaining full guard. Harvey controls from within his opponent's guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Arai lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Arai cracks Kolar with an open hand slap. Kolar will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kolar slips under a jab.
