These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

That was a close round but I would say that Giang Hao will probably get the nod.

Hao avoids a punch combination nicely.
A little feinted left hand from Hao on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Hao is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Hao steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Roth.
Philip Roth seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Hao clips Roth with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Roth a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.

and Hao counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Roth drops his guard momentarily, allowing Hao to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Roth! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Hao takes it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Giang Hao!
Giang Hao was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
