With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sid Pommier! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyler Tierney! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Steve Erwin and Francis DeMontford.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pommier throws a leg kick that is checked and Tierney counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Sid Pommier has been cut. A slapping body kick lands there for Pommier. Pommier's jab looks to have found its range, popping Tierney under the eye. Pommier throws a lazy right hand but Tierney sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Good shot there by Tierney. Pommier fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tierney has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Pommier tries to score with a low kick but Tierney moves his leg out of the way. Tierney lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. We've been told by Pommier's head coaches at Outlier Martial Arts New York that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Tierney has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Tierney and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
