With a record of 6 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bosko Brown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dustin Giles! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, David Schapiro and Russell Pearce.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Giles tries to clinch there but Brown circles away.
Giles looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Giles throws a series of punches but Brown avoids them all with ease. Giles tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Brown manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. It looked like Brown was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Giles. Giles swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Brown throws a quick counter head kick but Giles was just out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Giles throws out a leg kick but Brown moves out of range and Giles only half commits. Nice takedown defense from Brown. No joy for Giles on that attempt.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Giles shoots in for a takedown but Brown shows good takedown defense. Giles tries for a takedown but Brown circles away easily and Brown counters with a nice uppercut. Bosko Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dustin Giles. Giles tried to score with a low kick but Brown checks it. Giles fails with a takedown attempt. Brown throws a big counter combination but Giles scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

As Giles looks to move away, Brown throws a big counter combo but Giles just gets out of the way. Giles looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Brown dodges the punch combination from Giles.
Brown tried to counter with a leg kick but Giles avoided it.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Giles misses with a takedown attempt and Brown counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Giles doesn't succeed with the takedown and Brown counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. A combination from Giles does no damage. Brown throws a big counter combination but Giles scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Giles shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Brown defends it nicely.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Giles looks to score with a jab to the body but Brown is just out of range. Giles tries to clinch up and Brown rattles Giles with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Giles tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Brown dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Giles stiff and motionless on the mat!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Crocop. Szobo tries to clinch up but Crocop circles away and keeps his distance.
Szobo closes the distance and clinches. Crocop leaning against his opponent.
Crocop escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A nice leg kick from Crocop, right into the meat of the thigh.
Crocop definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Szobo rushes Crocop and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Szobo changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Crocop fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Crocop throws a nice looking combination but Szobo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Szobo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Crocop sprawls well initially but Szobo persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Szobo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Crocop defends it well.

Szobo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Crocop doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Szobo. Szobo is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crocop is trying to stand up.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Crocop looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Szobo! Submission of the night perhaps?

Anderson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Shrute tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Anderson is in Shrute's guard. Anderson throws a big right hand that misses. Anderson throwing strikes but missing. Shrute can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Anderson controls the pace. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Anderson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Shrute for as long as he can get away with. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nejc slips a jab from Shima. Nejc walks into a left hand. Nejc uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Shima.
Shima misses with a wild body shot. Nejc throws a body shot but no joy. Nejc's corner calls for a 1-2. Nejc obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Shima loads up on a big right hand but Nejc slips the punch. A combination from Shima does no damage. Shima falls off balance throwing a combination
and Nejc counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shima misses with a looping right. Nejc looks like he wants to counter punch here. Nejc swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Shima. Nejc keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Shima fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Nejc's coach down at California Top Team was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Nejc's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A short uppercut from Shima. Shima misses with a hook from the clinch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Shima goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Shima has Nejc pressed against the cage.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Nejc blocks an uppercut.
Shima's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Shima dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Nejc manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nejc blocks a punch to the side of the head.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Tetsuo Shima dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Nejc throws a right and a left that both miss. Nejc scores with the left hand. Shima knows he should have avoided that one. Nejc takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Nejc is rocked! Nejc glances at the clock... BAM! Shima nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Nejc crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Nejc is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tetsuo Shima! As Tetsuo Shima got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Thanks for the chance to become champion, it feels great ,looking forward to my first defense.'.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tarlah fails with a takedown attempt. Balink Tarlah seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tarlah closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Crowder looking for a sweep. Not yet Crowder, not yet. Pizziconi looking to sit in guard and control but Crowder gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Crowder postures up in Pizziconi's guard and throws a big left but Pizziconi blocks it. Pizziconi is trying to control the position but Crowder postures up. Crowder throws a strike but Pizziconi rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Pizziconi wants to pass the guard but Crowder is keeping the position. Pizziconi throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Pizziconi showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Pizziconi scoring with punches to the head and body.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Pizziconi trying to control but Crowder is working from the bottom. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Pizziconi drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Crowder dives on top into guard.

Crowder is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pizziconi is just riding it out for now. Crowder eventually gives up the hold. Pizziconi wants to control but Crowder is keeping busy.
Crowder is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Crowder thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Pizziconi's head.
