The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yaj takes a swing at Saades's ribcage but misses.
Yaj throws a shot to the body.
Yaj tries to work over Saades's front leg with a kick but Saades checks it.

Saades has taken the fight to the clinch.
Yaj tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Saades manages to break the clinch.

Yaj lands a big head kick that sends Saades tumbling to the mat! Yaj takes a step backwards and waves Saades back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Saades is rocked!

It looks like Octavio Saades has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Yaj and Saades are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Yaj throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Saades into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Yaj knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
