Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alborz Mumu (ranked 238 p4p, 468 weight class) and Tohit Tohurt (ranked 3 p4p, 20 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the liver by Mumu. Beautiful body shot.
Mumu takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Mumu lands a head shot.

It looks like Tohit Tohurt has been cut.
Mumu closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Mumu misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tohurt.
Tohurt was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Mumu throws a head kick that misses.
Tohurt tries a quick counter leg kick but Mumu is wise to it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tohurt defending well as Mumu loads up on a big left hand.
Tohurt uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mumu.
Mumu misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Tohurt counters with a straight right hand.

Tohurt ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Tohurt flicks out a counter leg kick but Mumu steps away.
Tohurt misses with an uppercut
and Mumu counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Tohurt scores with a jab to the head.
Tohurt blocks a jab.
Tohurt throws out a counter right but Mumu avoids it with no problem.
Mumu throws a head kick but Tohurt moves out of range.
A big left from Mumu misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mumu uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Tohurt has time to react.
Tohurt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mumu throws a body shot but no joy.
Tohurt takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Mumu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Tohurt flicks out a counter leg kick but Mumu steps away.
Mumu lands with a hook. Tohurt tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

That has opened up Tohit Tohurt's cut even more.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tohurt ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Tohurt only half commits to the counter leg kick.

Mumu misses with an uppercut
and Tohurt counters with a nice body kick.
Mumu throws an off balance right hand
letting Tohurt counter with a right hand.
Tohurt looks for the body kick but Mumu saw that one coming.
Tohurt drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Mumu tries to clinch up.
Mumu misses with a shot to the body
and Tohurt connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A slapping leg kick lands for Tohurt.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Good standup being displayed there by Mumu as he connects with a hook.

The cut above Tohit Tohurt's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Tohurt ducks right into an uppercut from Mumu.
Mumu checks a leg kick.
Tohurt moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Tohurt has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Mumu cracks Tohurt with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Tohurt looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Mumu finish him?

Tohurt is rocked!

Tohit Tohurt's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tohit Tohurt's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Alborz Mumu!
