Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ralph McGuire!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, John Roberts and Franklyn Lucas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuire scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Izquierdo listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
McGuire lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
We've been told by Izquierdo's head coaches at Soul Supremacy Rio that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
McGuire bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Izquierdo's head backwards.
McGuire tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Izquierdo was well out of range. Poor timing from McGuire.
McGuire throws a sloppy head kick and Izquierdo moves out of range easily.
McGuire throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Izquierdo swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Izquierdo checks a leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Izquierdo throws a lazy right hand but McGuire sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
McGuire throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McGuire with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McGuire moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
McGuire darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
McGuire connects with a leg kick.

McGuire drops Izquierdo with a beautiful combination! Izquierdo stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - McGuire is looking for the KO!

Izquierdo is rocked!

It looks like Ivan Izquierdo has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McGuire lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Oh Izquierdo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Izquierdo leaves his chin hanging out and McGuire seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Izquierdo crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
