Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Malcolm King (ranked 195 p4p, 386 weight class) and Lucien Lachance (ranked 29 p4p, 56 weight class). King comes to the cage accompanied by Alice In Chains - Get Born Again. Lachance has chosen Scarecrow as his entrance music. Lucien Lachance acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lachance moves out of range of the strikes.
Lachance steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from King.
King throws a good cross that connects.
King tries to work over Lachance's front leg with a kick but Lachance checks it.
King staying out of range there.
King misses with an uppercut. Lachance saw that one coming.
King misses with a straight left.
King throws a chopping leg kick but Lachance manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Lachance steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from King.
Lachance defending well as King loads up on a big left hand.
Lachance tries to counter with a clinch but King shakes him off and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
King will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
King is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lachance.
Lachance on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
King moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Lachance appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
King connects with a leg kick.
King throws an overhand right that lands on Lachance's shoulder, as Lachance tries to avoid the shot.
King throws a big shot that misses.
Lachance takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
That kick from King tenderised Lachance's leg. Lachance is trying to keep his angry face on.
Lachance stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from King.
King lands a nice hook to Lachance's body. Lachance takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Malcolm King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lachance staying out of range there.
A shot to the body from Lachance misses
and King counters with a nice low kick that buckles Lachance's knee momentarily.

King lands with a nice body punch.
King throws a low kick, looking for Lachance's leg but Lachance calmly moves out of range.
King lands with a nice combination. Lachance backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Lucien Lachance has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
King misses with a body shot
enabling Lachance to counter with a crisp jab.
Lachance takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Lachance takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Lachance is rocked!
Lachance throws a hook but King avoids it easily.
An attempted straight right counter from King misses the target.
Lachance is still on wobbly legs! Can King finish him?
Lachance avoids the body shot from King.
Lachance swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Lachance seems to have recovered his senses.
King loads up on a big right hand but Lachance slips the punch.
King misses the jab.
Lachance doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

King dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lachance. That did some damage!
King lands a nice hook to Lachance's body. Lachance takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Lachance on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
King rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Lachance counters with a crisp one two that drops King! Lachance thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves King to his feet! King is in big trouble!

King fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Lachance is out of range.
Oh King is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
King misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Lachance counters with a huge left! King is in big trouble! He's backing up but Lachance isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save King from any more damage. A dominating finish by Lachance!
