Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tohit Tohurt (ranked 465 p4p, 2230 weight class) and John Rydeland (ranked 13 p4p, 91 weight class). Rydeland is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Robbery - Not sneak attack. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 17 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tohit Tohurt! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 24 - 25 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Rydeland! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Francis DeMontford and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rydeland misses with a body kick. Tohurt appears to be looking for a big counter. We've been hearing reports that Tohurt has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Rydeland gets in close and instigates a clinch. Tohurt blocks an uppercut.
Tohurt is trying to break the clinch but Rydeland is controlling him. Tohurt breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Tohurt closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Tohurt walks into a stiff left hand from Rydeland. Rydeland gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. A head punch blocked on the inside by Tohurt. Tohurt is trying to break free. Rydeland tries to land knees in the clinch but Tohurt avoids the damage to the body. Rydeland tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Rydeland has a couple of punches blocked by Tohurt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tohurt pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Rydeland jabbing away but nothing is landing. Tohurt fires out a quick counter leg kick but Rydeland just manages to avoid it. Rydeland throws a big shot that misses. Rydeland lands with an overhand left.
It looks like Tohit Tohurt has been cut. Rydeland throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tohurt sees it coming and avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rydeland looks to land a right hand but Tohurt moved out of range. Tohurt throwing a counter right hand but Rydeland manages to avoid it. Tohurt swats away the attempt to clinch by Rydeland. Rydeland misses the jab. Rydeland will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Tohurt takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Nice cross by Rydeland. Tohurt takes a jab right on the kisser.
Tohurt ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Tohurt takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Rydeland is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. A punch lands to the side of Tohurt 's head but he takes it in his stride. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tohurt walks into a jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A swing and a miss from Rydeland. Rydeland throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Tohurt counters with a nice leg kick. A shot to the body from Rydeland misses and Tohurt counters with a nice right hand that sends Rydeland toppling to the canvas! Rydeland scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Tohurt finish him?!
Rydeland is rocked!
It looks like John Rydeland has been cut. Rydeland rushes Tohurt and presses him up against the cage. Rydeland is still on wobbly legs! Can Tohurt finish him? Tohurt escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rydeland seems to have recovered his senses. Tohurt takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Rydeland misses with a hook. Tohurt ducked under it nicely. Tohurt went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Rydeland swings widly with a right hand
and Tohurt counters with a crisp right hand that drops Rydeland! Tohurt lets Rydeland back up to his feet, looking for a finish! Rydeland stuns Tohurt with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Rydeland tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tohurt swats him away and circles back towards the center. Tohurt half committed to a counter leg kick. Rydeland gets a clinch. Tohurt breaks from the clinch.
Rydeland connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Rydeland closes the distance looking to clinch and Tohurt counters with a right hand from hell and Rydeland is out cold! A vicious knockout!
