Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Brawler (ranked 634 p4p, 1251 weight class) and Michael Cruz (ranked 98 p4p, 183 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brawler throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Cruz paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Brawler connects with a nice looking jab.
Cruz swings and misses with a shot to the body
letting Brawler counter with a right hand.
Cruz misses with a hook
and Brawler counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Brawler moves away from the strike by Cruz.
Cruz bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
We've been told by Brawler's head coaches at Tosen's Home for Lost Boys that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Cruz is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Brawler had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

Brawler stuns Cruz with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Cruz jabs Brawler right on the nose. Brawler blinks but takes it well.
Brawler throws a monster overhand right that drops Cruz! Brawler follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
