The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davinci closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Decent striking displayed by White there.

It looks like Molares Davinci has been cut.

White instigates a clinch.
Davinci takes a shot to the head.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for White.
White throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Davincis head.
White lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
A short body shot lands from White as the two fighters clinch.
White prevents the takedown attempt.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Davinci has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Davinci looks winded!
Come on White - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Davinci drops to a knee looking for a takedown but White gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Davinci has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by White after a bit of a struggle.
Buster White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Molares Davinci.
White lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Davinci backwards.

I was talking to White's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
