Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tacitus Kilgore (ranked 440 p4p, 308 weight class) and Prohor Georgiev (ranked 58 p4p, 39 weight class). Georgiev has chosen Oxxxymiron - City under the sole as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tacitus Kilgore! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 17 - 7 - 1, fighting out of London, Prohor Georgiev! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kilgore throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Georgiev on the side of the head. Georgiev moves out of range of the body kick. Georgiev keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Georgiev uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kilgore.
Kilgore ducks under a wild hook from Georgiev. Georgiev thumps Kilgore with a low kick. Kilgore shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Kilgore stands up over Georgiev, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Kilgore chips away with some ground and pound. Georgiev throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Georgiev bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kilgore's guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kilgore is on top in guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Georgiev avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kilgore stays in close to Georgiev's body and controls the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kilgore avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kilgore has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Georgiev has his foot on Kilgore's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kilgore works his way back into a safe position though. Kilgore working some strikes from top position. Kilgore chips away with some ground and pound. Kilgore wants to sweep but no luck. Kilgore utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Kilgore looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Georgiev throwing strikes from guard but Kilgore blocks nicely. Georgiev in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Georgiev landing with the ground and pound. Georgiev stands and throws Kilgore's legs to the side, diving into side control. Georgiev is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kilgore is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Georgiev working the ground and pound but Kilgore is defending the strikes. Kilgore tries to get back to half guard but can't. Kilgore regains half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kilgore has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Georgiev is working away from the top position though. Georgiev wants to pass to mount but Kilgore is defending the position. Still in half guard, Georgiev seems content to control. Georgiev is trying to control the action in half guard but Kilgore is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Kilgore is looking to improve his position.
Kilgore has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Georgiev is working away from the top position though. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Georgiev throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Kilgore avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Georgiev. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tacitus Kilgore will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Kilgore lands a nice looking kick to the body. Georgiev takes a step back to recover. Kilgore takes a kick to the side of the head. A jab from Kilgore finds it's way through Georgiev's defenses. Kilgore avoids the head kick by Georgiev.
Georgiev throws out a leg kick but Kilgore moves out of range and Georgiev only half commits. Georgiev staying out of range there. Kilgore throws a half hearted mid kick. Tacitus Kilgore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kilgore moves away from the strike by Georgiev. Kilgore tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Georgiev is able to avoid easily. Kilgore fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. A big left from Georgiev misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Georgiev throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Georgiev slips a jab from Kilgore. Kilgore ducks under a wild hook from Georgiev. A little feinted left hand from Kilgore on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Georgiev lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Georgiev keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kilgore. Georgiev bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kilgore's head backwards.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kilgore scores with a body shot.
Kilgore lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Georgiev takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Tacitus Kilgore is winning the standup battle so far. Georgiev tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kilgore was well out of range. Poor timing from Georgiev. Kilgore misses with a straight right. A nice side step and Georgiev releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. A swing and a miss from Kilgore. Kilgore throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Kilgore throws the left hand but Georgiev avoids the punch easily. Georgiev's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kilgore connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Georgiev scrambles back to his feet. Kilgore lands a right hook to the body.

Tacitus Kilgore is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Georgiev swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Georgiev throws a jab when Kilgore was well out of range. Georgiev throws a shot from downtown. Kilgore moves away and avoids it. Georgiev uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kilgore. Georgiev throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Georgiev looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Georgiev uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kilgore.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kilgore avoids the body shot from Georgiev.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kilgore is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kilgore fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Georgiev sprawls well initially but Kilgore persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Kilgore lands strikes from half guard. Georgiev on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Kilgore is looking to advance position but Georgiev won't allow it. Kilgore is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Kilgore seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Tacitus Kilgore overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kilgore slips a nice elbow through Georgiev's hands, connecting with Georgiev's forehead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kilgore is nestled in close to Georgiev, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Kilgore tries to pass the half guard into mount. Georgiev knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Kilgore working the head and body with strikes. Kilgore is trying to control the action in half guard but Georgiev is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Kilgore working the head and body with strikes. Georgiev is looking for a sweep. Kilgore is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Georgiev is trying is best to control the position here. Georgiev wants to get back to full guard. Kilgore slips a nice elbow through Georgiev's hands, connecting with Georgiev's forehead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kilgore seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Georgiev does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Kilgore lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Georgiev manages to get to full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kilgore lands a couple of elbows. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Tacitus Kilgore dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round! Georgiev checks a leg kick. Kilgore lands a nice leg kick that just misses Georgiev's sensitive parts. Georgiev cracks a nice hook into Kilgore's ribs. Kilgore lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Georgiev looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Kilgore swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Georgiev follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Georgiev misses with a low kick. Kilgore throws a quick inside leg kick. Kilgore thuds his right hand into Georgiev's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Kilgore scores with a nice right hand.
Georgiev bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Georgiev feints a counter leg kick. Georgiev with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kilgore to score with a decent uppercut. Kilgore scores with a crisp jab that stopped Georgiev in his tracks. Georgiev throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Kilgore takes one on the button. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Georgiev checks a leg kick. Kilgore clobbers Georgiev with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
That's one minute gone in the round. Georgiev walks into a straight right hand from Kilgore. Georgiev tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kilgore was well out of range. Poor timing from Georgiev. Kilgore keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Kilgore gets a clinch. Kilgore can't find room to land a body shot as Georgiev controls the action.
Georgiev blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Georgiev tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Kilgore swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Georgiev drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kilgore pulls his leg out and moves away.
Georgiev fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Georgiev throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Georgiev slips under a jab. Kilgore throws the kick towards the body but Georgiev avoids it. Both fighters circling a little - Kilgore finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Kilgore misses with a body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kilgore checks the leg kick. Georgiev rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kilgore counters with a thumping low kick. Kilgore scores with a sloppy right hand. Georgiev should have avoided that one. Kilgore throws a looping overhand right but Georgiev ducks down to avoid it. Kilgore catches Georgiev with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A nice leg kick lands there from Kilgore. Kilgore fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Georgiev checks it well. Kilgore jabs Georgiev right on the nose. Georgiev blinks but takes it well. Kilgore walks into a straight right hand from Georgiev. Georgiev shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. It looks like Kilgore has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Tacitus Kilgore has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Prohor Georgiev. Kilgore connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Georgiev momentarily.
Georgiev dips to his left and cracks Kilgore with an uppercut! Kilgore throws a lazy uppercut
and Georgiev counters with a nice low kick that buckles Kilgore's knee momentarily. An inside leg kick lands from Georgiev. Kilgore checks the leg kick. Georgiev loads up on a big right hand but Kilgore slips the punch. Georgiev waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kilgore. Tacitus Kilgore is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kilgore jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Georgiev scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kilgore in his tracks. Georgiev staying out of range there. Nice defenses there by Kilgore. Georgiev on the wrong end of a nice jab. Kilgore jabs Georgiev to the body, keeping him at a distance. Georgiev slips a straight right by Kilgore. Kilgore dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Georgiev. That did some damage! Kilgore lands with a slapping head kick. Georgiev misses with a leg kick and Kilgore connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Kilgore throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kilgore takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Georgiev keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Georgiev will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Georgiev moves forwards but Kilgore connects with a nice, crisp jab. Kilgore tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Georgiev paws at him with a jab and circles away. And Georgiev tries to counter it with a takedown but Kilgore pushes his down on his head and steps out. Prohor Georgiev has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kilgore throws a body shot but no joy. A little jabbing left from Georgiev on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Georgiev dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kilgore. That did some damage! Kilgore just misses with a punch to the body.
Georgiev buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Georgiev throws a lazy right hand but Kilgore sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Georgiev throws a wild body kick that Kilgore sees coming a mile off. Georgiev misses with a low kick. Kilgore is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Georgiev. Georgiev with the counter takedown but Kilgore avoids it easily. Georgiev is looking to chop away at Kilgore's legs. Kilgore lands a lovely overhand right. Kilgore just misses with a punch to the body.
A nice inside leg kick there by Georgiev. That's going to slow Kilgore down. Kilgore connects with a single shot there. A slow jab from Kilgore misses its intended target. Georgiev takes one on the chin but seems OK.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kilgore feints and then cracks Georgiev's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Georgiev down.
And that's the end of the fight! Tacitus Kilgore showed his dominance in that final round. Well Kilgore has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
