Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Stark (ranked 423 p4p, 812 weight class) and David King (ranked 62 p4p, 111 weight class). King has chosen Manchester United Chants George Best Song Spirit In The Sky as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Tony Stark! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, David King! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Glass and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stark closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. King quickly recovers to half guard. King manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Stark keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Stark tries for a takedown but King manages to get underhooks.
Stark blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Stark has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. King managing to block the knees to the body from Stark.
Stark goes for a takedown in the clinch but King prevents it.

Stark shoots in looking for a takedown. King tries to sprawl out of it but Stark keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. King manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Stark. That's going to take a lot out of him. King misses with a looping right. King throws a one two combo.
It looks like Tony Stark has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. King looks to land a right hand but Stark moved out of range. King takes a swing at Stark's ribcage but misses. King uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. David King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stark closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Stark is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. King doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Stark. King works his way to full guard. Good work. King looking for a sweep. Not yet King, not yet. Stark is working King over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Stark postures up in King's guard and throws a big left but King blocks it. Stark thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. King bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Stark's guard. King content to stall in guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stark escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. King gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Stark has his foot on King's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. King works his way back into a safe position though. Stark looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's four minutes gone in the round. King escapes and gets back to his feet. King scores with a jab to the body. Nice takedown defense from King. No joy for Stark on that attempt. King gets caught flat footed, as Stark shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. King manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stark is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but King is defending well. King gets through Stark's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. King is pressed up against the cage. Stark has hold of a leg and is looking to drag King down to the mat. King avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. King punishes Stark's body with a nice straight punch. Stark shoots in looking for a takedown. King tries to sprawl out of it but Stark keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. King manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Stark is breathing heavily. King keeps the fight on the outside. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
David King dominated that round. The cut man is working on Tony Stark's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. King stuffs the takedown attempt from Stark. Stark gets slowly back to his feet. Stark is looking to take this fight into the clinch. King fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Stark looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. King throws a big shot that misses. King connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. King ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. King rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Stark moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Stark avoids the body shot from King.
Stark changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. King has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Stark takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
King connects with a single shot there. David King seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Stark doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Stark moves out of range as King strikes. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. King takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. King lands a body shot.
King scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Stark takes a body punch but keeps moving. Stark dodges the punch combination from King.

That's four minutes gone in the round. King scores with a hook. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. King takes a swing at Stark's ribcage but misses. Stark appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. King swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

King connects with a crisp jab. Stark defending well as King loads up on a big left hand. King scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Stark fails with a takedown attempt. King throws a hook but Stark blocks it. Stark half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Stark closes the distance and pushes King back into the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. King scores with a shot to the side of Stark's head. King escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Stark tries to score a power double leg takedown but King sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Stark somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Stark. That's going to take a lot out of him.

King trying to control but Stark is working from the bottom. Tony Stark has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Stark tries to land a sweep but no joy.
And that's the end of the fight! David King comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well King has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
