The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blazkov misses with a lunging right hand

Steve misses with a hook. Blazkov ducked under it nicely.
We've been informed that Blazkov has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Steve throws a sloppy head kick and Blazkov moves out of range easily.

and Blazkov makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Blazkov needs to keep his hands up - Steve had a free shot at his head there.

Blazkov feints and then cracks Steve's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Steve down.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Steve counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
A jab from Steve finds it's way through Blazkov's defenses.
Blazkov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Steve moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The fighters circle momentarily. Blazkov darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

and Steve counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Blazkov avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A nice side step and Blazkov releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Steve fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Steve uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Blazkov.

Steve is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Steve throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Blazkov takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Steve backing away here, and Blazkov unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Steve looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Steve has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Blazkov finds it's way round the side to connect with Steve's head.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Yago Steve will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Ulysses Blazkov's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Ulysses Blazkov has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Oooooh!!! Steve has knocked Blazkov down with a huge combo! Steve steps away and waves a wobbly Blazkov back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Steve here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

and Steve scores with a counter punch that sends Blazkov to the canvas! Steve smells blood - he's punishing Blazkov with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Blazkov has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yago Steve!
In his post fight interview, Yago Steve started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
