Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lynton Miller (ranked 338 p4p, 349 weight class) and Georges Moxley (ranked 46 p4p, 48 weight class). Miller's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Tool - Sober. Moxley has chosen Andre Nickatina - Color of the Benz as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 14 - 2, fighting out of Sydney, Lynton Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Georges Moxley!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller swings for the body but Moxley moves out of range.
Georges Moxley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Miller looks for the body kick but Moxley saw that one coming.
Moxley throws out a counter right but Miller avoids it with no problem.

and Moxley counters with a straight right hand.

Miller throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Moxley sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Moxley thuds his right hand into Miller's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Moxley is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Miller fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Moxley has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Moxley enables Miller to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Moxley manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Miller is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Moxley stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Miller swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We've been hearing that Miller has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
