Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Keith Rodgers (ranked 1063 p4p, 521 weight class) and Welter Weight (ranked 141 p4p, 67 weight class). Weight has chosen They say that I'm Crazy as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd cheers as Rodgers lands an impressive looking overhand right. Weight doesn't seem phased though.

and Rodgers makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Weight throws out a counter right but Rodgers avoids it with no problem.
Rodgers lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Rodgers tries to work over Weight's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rodgers throws the left hand but Weight avoids the punch easily.
Rodgers throws a low kick but Weight avoids it.
A nice leg kick lands there from Rodgers .
Weight bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Weight lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Rodgers at a distance.
Weight misses with a two punch combination.
Weight takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Keith Rodgers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rodgers comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

That was a close round but I would say that Keith Rodgers will probably get the nod.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rodgers lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Weight has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Weight and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Rodgers tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Weight counters with a left and a right... And another left! Rodgers is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
