Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vasko Madzarov (ranked 1013 p4p, 1469 weight class) and Shane Lancaster (ranked 149 p4p, 202 weight class). Lancaster is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Slipknot - I Am Hated. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lancaster throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Madzarov fires out a quick counter leg kick but Lancaster just manages to avoid it.
Lancaster scores with a sloppy right hand. Madzarov should have avoided that one.
Lancaster lands with a good body shot.
Shane Lancaster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lancaster misses with a body shot
and Madzarov cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Madzarov lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
The fighters circling - Madzarov throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Madzarov fakes the leg kick and cracks Lancaster in the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Madzarov has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lancaster is working away from the top position though.
