Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yago Steve (ranked 3 p4p, 18 weight class) and Kilo Maluga (ranked 1 p4p, 4 weight class). Maluga has chosen JUNGLE as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yago Steve!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 43 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kilo Maluga!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steve misses with a hook.
Steve lands a jab to Maluga's midsection.
Maluga clobbers Steve with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Steve moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
It looks like Kilo Maluga has been cut.

Maluga has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Steve displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Maluga throws out the jab.

A close round but Kilo Maluga will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.

Maluga looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Maluga cracks Steve with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Steve looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Maluga finish him?

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Steve cracks Maluga with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

The fighters circle momentarily. Steve darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Maluga throws a jab but it's blocked by Steve.

Yago Steve seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Maluga misses with an uppercut. Steve saw that one coming.
Oh Steve is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Maluga goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Steve seems to have got his legs back now.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
A decent looking cross lands there for Maluga.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Steve might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Yago Steve's cut is getting worse.
Maluga cracks Steve with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Steve tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Maluga pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Steve is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kilo Maluga!
