Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Barnes (ranked 1244 p4p, 1015 weight class) and Ernesto Mathieu (ranked 32 p4p, 26 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Barnes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ernesto Mathieu!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Ernesto Mathieu has been cut.
Mathieu is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Mathieu throws a body shot but no joy.
Barnes moves away from the strike by Mathieu.
Barnes was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Barnes throws a push kick but Mathieu slaps the foot to one side.

Barnes fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mathieu has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Barnes throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Barnes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mathieu manages to avoid it.
A bone on bone clash there as Mathieu blocks the leg kick.
Barnes throws a combination that misses
and Mathieu counters with a low kick, right behind Barnes 's knee.

Bob Barnes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mathieu tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Barnes was well out of range. Poor timing from Mathieu.

Mathieu feints and then cracks Barnes's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Barnes down.

Barnes throws a low kick but Mathieu moves out of range easily.
Mathieu tries a quick counter leg kick but Barnes is wise to it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Barnes. Mathieu does a little dance to reset his feet.
Barnes ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Mathieu is looking to clinch but Barnes is avoiding it.
Barnes throws a big counter combination but Mathieu scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Barnes lands with a thumping leg kick.
Mathieu tries to clinch but Barnes is having none of it.
Barnes walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Mathieu checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

and Mathieu counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Barnes lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Barnes misses with the body kick
and Mathieu counters with a crisp right that sends Barnes to the canvas! Mathieu follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

Ernesto Mathieu tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
