Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buck Wagner (ranked 2465 p4p, 3405 weight class) and Buddah Joe (ranked 124 p4p, 148 weight class). Buddah Joe is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Buck Wagner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Buddah Joe! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Illya Tyunina and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joe defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Wagner. Joe throws a half hearted mid kick. As Joe tries to get set, Wagner tries to push him back and clinch up but Joe manages to avoid the attempt. Wagner shoots in and drives through. Joe sprawls well. Joe steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Wagner. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Joe has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Joe throws a half hearted mid kick. Wagner shoots in looking for a takedown. Joe tries to sprawl out of it but Wagner keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Joe manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Joe steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Wagner. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Buck Wagner. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wagner avoids the head kick by Joe.
Buck Wagner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Joe misses with a body kick. Wagner steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Joe. Wagner jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Wagner misses with a kick to the body.
Horrible takedown attempt by Wagner or perhaps it was just good defense by Joe, which made it look bad.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joe looks to land a body kick but Wagner moved away. Wagner tries a head kick but it misses.
Wagner shoots in for a takedown but Joe shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Joe tries to counter by closing the distance. Wagner keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Wagner looks for the body kick but Joe saw that one coming. Joe looks to land a right hand but Wagner moved out of range. Wagner shoots in for a takedown but Joe shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Wagner throws a combination that misses and Joe moves into the clinch. Joe ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Joe no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Joe has Wagner pulled in close to control his posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wagner stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Joe throws up his legs and catches Wagner in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Wagner tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Joe! That came out of nowhere!
