Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ikuma Arishima (ranked 1010 p4p, 718 weight class) and Tobias Berge (ranked 141 p4p, 103 weight class). Arishima comes to the cage accompanied by Fight Music. Ikuma Arishima is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ikuma Arishima!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tobias Berge!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice cross by Arishima.
Berge takes a swing at Arishima's ribcage but misses.
Arishima is looking to counter punch.
Arishima lands a nice shot to the body.
Berge drops his hands momentarily and Arishima takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Arishima circles away from the clinch attempt.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Berge has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Good standup being displayed there by Arishima as he connects with a hook.
Berge avoids a punch combination nicely.
Berge looks to land a combination but Arishima avoids it well.
Berge tries for a takedown but Arishima circles away easily
and Arishima counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
We've been told by Arishima's head coaches at Canucks Combat Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Berge's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Arishima connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Berge scrambles back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Berge tries to clinch but Arishima is having none of it.
It looked like Arishima was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Berge.
Berge misses with an uppercut
and Arishima connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Arishima drops Berge with a beautiful combination! Berge stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Arishima is looking for the KO!

Berge is rocked!
Arishima finds Berge's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Berge flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Arishima lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Berge will be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ikuma Arishima!
A determined Ikuma Arishima didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
Tobias Berge was interviewed post fight and said 'It's whatever man. I'm gonna go smoke some weed after I get home and forget this ever happened.'.
