Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Domonic Dilbrandt (ranked 1557 p4p, 1667 weight class) and Richard Morrison (ranked 93 p4p, 100 weight class). Dilbrandt comes to the cage accompanied by The Champ is Here. Domonic Dilbrandt had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 136.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Chris Dean and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrison takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Dilbrandt thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Morrison if he has to take too many more of those.
Morrison steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dilbrandt.
Morrison looks like he wants to counter punch here.
A slow jab from Dilbrandt misses its intended target.

Morrison lands with a kick to the temple. Dilbrandt shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

and Morrison counters with a nice low kick that buckles Dilbrandt's knee momentarily.

Dilbrandt looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Morrison throws a sloppy body shot
and Dilbrandt connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Dilbrandt gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Dilbrandt takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Dilbrandt misses with a low kick.

Morrison throws a hook but Dilbrandt blocks it.

Dilbrandt lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Morrison throws out a counter right but Dilbrandt avoids it with no problem.

and Morrison counters with a nice uppercut.
Morrison throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Dilbrandt scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Morrison was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Morrison lands a glancing blow to the side of Dilbrandt's head.

Dilbrandt misses with a hook.
Dilbrandt tries a head kick but it misses.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Morrison! But no joy.
Morrison takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Morrison lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A shot to the body from Dilbrandt misses
and Morrison scores with a counter punch that sends Dilbrandt to the canvas! Morrison smells blood - he's punishing Dilbrandt with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Dilbrandt has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Richard Morrison!
A relieved looking Richard Morrison thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Domonic Dilbrandt was interviewed post fight and said 'Damn Should Never Took That Massive Break'.
