Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bon Adrien De Moncey (ranked 2663 p4p, 1990 weight class) and Wesley Shutes (ranked 322 p4p, 254 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shutes slaps away a takedown attempt from De Moncey, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Shutes raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

and Shutes counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
De Moncey shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Shutes defends it nicely.

Shutes tries to throw a body punch but De Moncey avoids it by throwing Shutes back against the cage.

Shutes throws a series of strikes that have De Moncey backpedaling.
De Moncey dives in and grabs Shutes's left leg, looking for a takedown. Shutes pushes down on De Moncey's head and hops out.
