Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Slam (ranked 30 p4p, 131 weight class) and Will Wrecks (ranked 5 p4p, 16 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ben Slam!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Will Wrecks!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slam takes a jab right on the kisser.
It looks like Ben Slam has been cut.
Slam connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Slam lands an overhand right.
Wrecks takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
It looks like Will Wrecks has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Slam. Wrecks does a little dance to reset his feet.
Slam lands with a kick to the ribs.
Slam walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Wrecks misses with a right hand
and Slam counters with a nice right hand that sends Wrecks toppling to the canvas! Wrecks scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Slam finish him?!
Wrecks is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wrecks throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wrecks is still on wobbly legs! Can Slam finish him?
Slam lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Wrecks up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Slam from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Wrecks's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ben Slam!
Ben Slam retains his heavyweight title!
A very excited looking Ben Slam made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
