Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jake Drummond (ranked 2432 p4p, 1697 weight class) and African King (ranked 303 p4p, 224 weight class). Jake Drummond is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Drummond!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, African King!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drummond throws an overhand right that lands on King's shoulder, as King tries to avoid the shot.
Drummond misses with a lunging right hand
and King counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
King takes a jab right on the kisser.
King drives through with a takedown into guard.
King trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Drummond working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. King doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. King manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
King stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Drummond swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Drummond is pulling down on King's head. It's preventing any offense from King, at least for the moment.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

King is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Drummond defends it well.

King is looking to cinch up a triangle. Drummond throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to King's body to avoid the submission. King has instead reached around Drummond's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! King arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). African King!
After the fight, African King was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
