The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vercetti throws a right and a left that both miss.
Haze swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Haze throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Vercetti has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Decent striking displayed by Haze there.
Haze throws a leg kick that misses.
Haze avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

It looks like Darryl Haze has been cut.
Haze ducks under a wild hook from Vercetti.
Vercetti throws a series of strikes that have Haze backpedaling.
Vercetti throws a lazy right hand but Haze sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A little feinted left hand from Haze on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Haze tries to score with a low kick but Vercetti moves his leg out of the way.

Haze feinted with a counter takedown.
Haze lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Haze tries to land a leg kick but Vercetti saw it coming and moves away.
Vercetti throws a hook but Haze blocks it.
Haze is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Vercetti is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Haze .
Haze thuds his shin into the meat of Vercetti's side.
Haze looks to score with a jab to the body but Vercetti is just out of range.
Nice straight punches there by Vercetti. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Vercetti.

Vercetti lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Haze is looking to close the distance but Vercetti sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Haze crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Haze is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
