Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lion Tiger (ranked 536 p4p, 755 weight class) and Paulo Kogos (ranked 81 p4p, 108 weight class). Tiger comes to the cage accompanied by Alok - Hear Me Tonight. Paulo Kogos has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lion Tiger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paulo Kogos! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tiger smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Tiger connects with a nice looking jab.

Kogos with the counter takedown but Tiger avoids it easily. Tiger looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Jab, jab by Tiger - just one landing.

And Kogos tries to counter it with a takedown but Tiger pushes his down on his head and steps out. Tiger misses with a straight right. A right-left combo lands from Tiger. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kogos's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Tiger connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kogos scrambles back to his feet.

And Kogos tries to counter it with a takedown but Tiger pushes his down on his head and steps out. The fighters circling - Tiger throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Kogos wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Kogos lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Tiger avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kogos slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Tiger takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Tiger bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Tiger looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. and Kogos counters with a stiff right hand. Tiger slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Tiger swings widly with a right hand

and Kogos counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kogos. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kogos passes Tiger's left leg - he's now in half guard. Tiger keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Tiger blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kogos. Paulo Kogos has got the better of the ground game so far. Kogos working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Paulo Kogos will probably get the nod - 10:9. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's time! Tiger's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round! Tiger throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Kogos lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Kogos fails with a takedown attempt. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Tiger sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Tiger throws a half hearted mid kick. Kogos feints the counter takedown. Kogos takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

That has opened up Paulo Kogos's cut even more. Tiger keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Kogos scores with the left hand. Tiger knows he should have avoided that one. Tiger misses with a straight left. Despite the aggression on Kogos's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. A shot to the liver by Tiger. Beautiful body shot.

Kogos now looks to counter with a shot at the body. The crowd cheers as Kogos lands an impressive looking overhand right. Tiger doesn't seem phased though. Tiger throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kogos counters with a stiff right hand.
And that's the end of the fight! Lion Tiger showed his dominance in that final round. I think Tiger has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
