Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jerricho Patterson!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, David Schapiro and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patterson explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Patterson misses with a straight left.
Menday throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Patterson.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Patterson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Menday throws a shot from downtown. Patterson moves away and avoids it.
Patterson swings away with a body shot that misses
and Menday connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A looping hook to the body misses from Patterson. Menday does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jerricho Patterson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Patterson throws a sloppy head kick and Menday moves out of range easily.
A left lands for Patterson.
Menday takes one on the button.
Patterson misses with a hook
and Menday cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Jerricho Patterson has been cut.
Menday on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Patterson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Menday connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Patterson connects with the punch.
Patterson lands a leg kick that knocks Menday off balance momentarily.
Patterson feints with a jab and clips Menday right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Menday is sent crashing into the canvas and Patterson leaps in for the kill! Menday tries to get to his feet but Patterson is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Menday is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jerricho Patterson!
