Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Blank (ranked 1127 p4p, 1142 weight class) and Make Makkonen (ranked 55 p4p, 56 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Frank Blank has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Frank Blank seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frank Blank!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Make Makkonen!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Luis Engracia and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Blank throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Blank throws a nice looking combination but Makkonen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Blank stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Blank wants it to stay on the feet.
A bone on bone clash there as Makkonen blocks the leg kick.
Makkonen manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Blank on his heels. He'll look to pass Blank's guard now, I'm sure.
Makkonen looking to sit in guard and control but Blank gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

It looks like Frank Blank has been cut.
Blank might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Makkonen forces his way into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Blank is trying to maintain the position but Makkonen is very close to passing his half guard.
Blank is trying to get back to full guard.
Makkonen working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Makkonen throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Blank is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Makkonen scores with a couple of nice shots.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Frank Blank's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Make Makkonen!
After winning the bout, Make Makkonen thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
