Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aljosa Medeiros (ranked 626 p4p, 844 weight class) and Nori Voluspa (ranked 100 p4p, 121 weight class). Medeiros comes to the cage accompanied by Sidequest - Chime. On his way into the cage it seems that Aljosa Medeiros has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Aljosa Medeiros seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Dean Styles and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Voluspa slips a jab from Medeiros.
Voluspa has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Voluspa there as he acknowledges the shot.
Voluspa moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
We've been hearing reports that Medeiros has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Voluspa closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Medeiros to the mat! Medeiros manages to get full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Medeiros accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
