Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Mazepin (ranked 1212 p4p, 2447 weight class) and Marwin Mueller (ranked 158 p4p, 285 weight class). Mazepin comes to the cage accompanied by boom. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Daniel Blasius and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mazepin walks into a stiff left hand from Mueller.
It looks like Fedor Mazepin has been cut.
Mueller closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Mueller working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mueller connects with a nice short shot to Mazepin's temple.

Mueller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mazepin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mueller loads up on a big left hand. Mazepin felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Mueller looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Mazepin can't hide his disappointment, as Mueller celebrates the victory.
