Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Domonic Dilbrandt (ranked 2253 p4p, 1887 weight class) and Brooke Marsden (ranked 129 p4p, 107 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dilbrandt might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to NO CHANCE . Marsden has chosen Lunatic Fringe as his entrance music. Domonic Dilbrandt had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Domonic Dilbrandt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brooke Marsden!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Winston Howard and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dilbrandt misses with a low kick as Marsden jumps back.
Dilbrandt takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Dilbrandt scores with a decent looking hook.
Dilbrandt connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Marsden misses with a hook. Dilbrandt ducked under it nicely.
A looping hook to the body misses from Marsden. Dilbrandt does a little dance to reset his feet.
Dilbrandt throws a push kick but Marsden slaps the foot to one side.
Marsden moves out of range of the body kick.
Dilbrandt keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Dilbrandt dodges the punch combination from Marsden.
Dilbrandt tries to land a front kick but Marsden steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Marsden tries a quick counter leg kick but Dilbrandt is wise to it.
Marsden on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Dilbrandt cracks Marsden with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Marsden misses with a body shot
and Dilbrandt counters with a low kick, right behind Marsden 's knee.
Dilbrandt waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Marsden.
Marsden comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Dilbrandt misses with the combination.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Marsden rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Dilbrandt counters with a low kick, right behind Marsden 's knee.
Marsden swings for the body but Dilbrandt moves out of range.
Dilbrandt throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Marsden on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Marsden connects with a nice looking jab.
Marsden slips under a jab.
Marsden drops his hands momentarily and Dilbrandt takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
It looks like Dilbrandt has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Dilbrandt misses with a left hand
and Marsden counters with a nice uppercut.
Dilbrandt throws a hook but Marsden blocks it.
Marsden scores with a jab to the jaw.
Crunch! Dilbrandt slams his shin into Marsden's torso.
Dilbrandt tries to move into range but Marsden moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Marsden checks a leg kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Marsden.
Dilbrandt wants to land a leg kick but Marsden is out of range.
Marsden takes a swing at Dilbrandt's ribcage but misses.
Dilbrandt throws a push kick but Marsden slaps the foot to one side.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Marsden throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dilbrandt stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Dilbrandt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Marsden drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Dilbrandt is not content to let Marsden control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dilbrandt being controlled for a moment.

Marsden swings around for an armbar but Dilbrandt sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Marsden's guard.
Dilbrandt won't allow Marsden to sweep him here.
Marsden looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Marsden working for submissions but it's allowed Dilbrandt to get to half guard.
Marsden is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Dilbrandt jumps into side control!
Marsden manages to get back to half guard.
Marsden is positioning himself well to prevent Dilbrandt advancing to mount.
Marsden is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dilbrandt's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dilbrandt's back!
Dilbrandt tries to break free.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
I would not like to be Dilbrandt right now.

Marsden looking to break Dilbrandt's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Dilbrandt remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Marsden will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Dilbrandt won't enjoy being in this position. Marsden looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Dilbrandt is tapping - it's over boys! Marsden picks up the submission victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Brooke Marsden!
Brooke Marsden managed to slip a mention for his sponsors, Voodoo Nutrition, into his post fight interview.
In defeat, Domonic Dilbrandt stepped up to the mic, saying 'Damn Should Never Took That Massive Break'.
