Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Keizo Kasai (ranked 1436 p4p, 949 weight class) and Mancha Aisland (ranked 127 p4p, 81 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Keizo Kasai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mancha Aisland!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Topper Green and Ron Honeybunn.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kasai looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Aisland moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Aisland shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Aisland is trying to control the action in half guard but Kasai is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Aisland seems to be looking for submissions.
Aisland is looking to advance position but Kasai won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kasai is trying to stand back up but Aisland is controlling him
Aisland trying to mount his opponent but Kasai defends it.

Aisland is looking for a kimura but Kasai is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Aisland to get the leverage.
Aisland looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Kasai is concentrating on defense, preventing Aisland from advancing position.
Kasai keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kasai pushes Aisland off looking to stand but Aisland dives back in and keeps control.
Kasai knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Aisland on the ground.
Aisland is trying to control the action in half guard but Kasai is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Kasai tries to roll over but Aisland keeps him under control.
Kasai is working hard here to advance position.
Aisland works his foot free and advances to mount.

Aisland has control of Kasai's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kasai regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kasai tries to hold on but Aisland postures up.

Aisland looking to secure an arm triangle but Kasai defends it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Aisland is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Kasai can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Kasai wants to try and get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Aisland is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Kasai to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kasai shrugs it off.

Aisland working for a guillotine from mount but Kasai is in no mood to give up.

Aisland is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Kasai has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Kasai keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Kasai sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Aisland looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Aisland seems to be working for a kimura but Kasai defends the submission attempt.
Aisland wants to control but Kasai is keeping him busy.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Aisland is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Kasai manages to get to full guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Mancha Aisland dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Kasai throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Aisland stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Kasai connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Aisland tries to clinch up.
Kasai was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Aisland fails with a takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aisland takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kasai lands with an uppercut that bounces Aisland off the cage and back into range.
Aisland goes for a double leg but Kasai avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kasai continues to drive forward.
Kasai is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Kasai throws a right hand that Aisland ducks under and follows up with a left that Aisland also avoids with ease.
Kasai swings for the body but Aisland moves out of range.
Aisland is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Keizo Kasai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kasai misses with a wild body shot.
And Aisland tries to counter it with a takedown but Kasai pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Kasai fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Aisland is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Kasai throws a body punch but Aisland moves out of range.
Aisland gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kasai counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Keizo Kasai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mancha Aisland.
Aisland ducks right into an uppercut from Kasai.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Aisland scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Aisland is trying to get an arm triangle but Kasai is defending well.
Kasai keeping his opponent close.
Aisland lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Kasai down.
Kasai is trying to get back to half guard.

Aisland has an Americana. Kasai didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Aisland is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Aisland hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Mancha Aisland!
A very excited looking Mancha Aisland made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
