Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hin Areni (ranked 573 p4p, 2553 weight class) and Rikiya Goromaru (ranked 50 p4p, 233 weight class). Areni's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Mosaique. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 16 - 0, fighting out of London, Rikiya Goromaru!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goromaru ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Areni moves away.
Areni tried to counter with a leg kick but Goromaru avoided it.
Areni misses the jab.
Goromaru appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Areni has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Mentor Gym in the buildup to the fight.

Areni gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Goromaru lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Areni has picked Goromaru up - he's going for a ride! Areni dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Goromaru is trying to get back to full guard.
Areni is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Areni seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Areni lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Areni is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Goromaru felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Areni! Goromaru is hurt baaadly! Areni is firing away with more strikes - Goromaru is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

A very excited looking Hin Areni rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
