The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Philippe swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Mongrel.
Philippe throws a hook to the side of Mongrel's head but Mongrel sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Mongrel moves away from the strike by Philippe.
Mongrel doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

and Mongrel counters with a body kick.
Philippe misses with a looping left.
Philippe throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Mongrel on the side of the head.

and Philippe cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Mongrel might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Philippe has got the better of the exchanges.
