Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wesley Shutes (ranked 1487 p4p, 2529 weight class) and Stoner Steve (ranked 226 p4p, 351 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Steve drops Shutes with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Shutes looks back up at him and smiles so Steve waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Steve feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Shutes sprawling to the canvas! Shutes rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Steve finish him?!
Shutes tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A nice side step and Steve releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Steve ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Shutes's jaw. Shutes's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Steve does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
