Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nigel Benn Jr (ranked 2789 p4p, 2241 weight class) and Jinjing Yan (ranked 322 p4p, 263 weight class). Nigel Benn Jr had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 187.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Nigel Benn Jr had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Benn Jr throws an ugly left hook that misses

It looks like Nigel Benn Jr has been cut. Benn Jr throws an off balance right hand
and Yan counters with a nice right hand that sends Benn Jr toppling to the canvas! Benn Jr scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Yan finish him?! Benn Jr throws a poor cross that misses
and Yan counters with a crisp right that sends Benn Jr to the canvas! Yan follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

Jinjing Yan was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
